WOL Cancelled Tonight

Due to inclement weather, tonights WOL Club (1/20) is cancelled.

FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 6 AM CST THURSDAY...
A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT.
* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD FAR NORTHEASTERN ILLINOIS
AND NORTHWESTERN INDIANA DURING THE MID AND LATE AFTERNOON.
LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...TOTAL ICE ACCUMULATION OF AROUND ONE TENTH
OF AN INCH IS FORECAST. THE PERIOD WITH THE GREATEST POTENTIAL
FOR ICE ACCUMULATION WILL BE FROM LATE AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS
EVENING...THEN THE FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DIMINISH TO
FREEZING DRIZZLE FOR OVERNIGHT.

Mission Trip - Informational meeting

Our next youth mission trip is scheduled for July 24 - August 1, 2011 back to Brazil.  There will be an informational meeting after the worship service on January 31 up in the youth room.

I'll provide information on application deadlines, requirements, costs, etc.

The goal is to have the team in place by May so we have time to come together as a team and begin raising support for the trip.  There's a lot to do in preparation for such a mission trip and it will be helpful to have the time to plan and prepare.
